what is the iq of a ba graduate in art
Depending on the state and the school system, most high schools require a certain number of "credits" be accumulated in certain subjects in order to graduate with a high school diploma. Many school districts award "special" diplomas to those who are learning disabled or who do not pass certain state tests and others will award a "certificate of attendance". Neither of those are considered regular diplomas though. IQ normally has nothing to do with graduating from high school.
An IQ score of 100 is normalized for the average high school graduate. This makes it only slightly above "average" assuming that those that drop out, on the average, are slightly below average intelligence.
he dropped out of high school in the 10th grade
He graduated from high school with a high iq.
78 is very far below the theoretical average of 100. However, IQ results vary between the exact test taken, so getting a 78 doesn't mean that your IQ is actually 78.
IQ does not predict "success" in any way. It does not mean one will graduate high school or college nor does it mean one will earn tons of money. What an IQ of 130 would suggest is that the individual has the innate ability to learn and function in Western education. This person will need to use what he has in order to be successful!
If you qualify educationally (usually a high school or GED graduate) and can pass the physical, mental, IQ, and interview tests you will be taught everything you need to know to become certified in your state.
