A score of 60 is not necessarily a bad one, but it could be improved. Think of if this way:

The amount of difference the score makes between a 10 and an 89 is very great, meaning if you score an 87-89, you will be qualified for almost all of the careers the branch has to offer and if you score a 10, you will be washing dishes. Scoring in the 90-99 range opens up only 1 to 2 more opportunities in your selected branch. So, based on your score you might not find the career suited to you. Try to get in the 80-89 range and you will be fine.

That is the score I received. Yes it is a very good score, though that score is not what matters. It's the individual line scores (AO, VE, etc.) that determine what ratings you can receive in the Armed Forces. But being that you got an 85 overall score, that means about 95% of the available jobs are open to you.

That was actually my score also. I enlisted in US Army Special Forces in the late 70's. I went to the 1/75th in 1986 then back to SF later.

Be preferred to take extera test at your entrance station. One test is a made up language that gets progressively harder. It does start with simple words and then rapidly begins to evolve words and you have to combine them to get the answer. This is given in prep for intelligence and other branches. I was Army reserve so the test did not go too far, but if you score high enough and also have a 4yr degree you could end up at some very high government positions in the intelligence community. Their old saying "Don't Screw around with someone that screws with people for a living"…their unofficial song…"I've got friends in low places"…

its about 33/99 from being perfect, your alright with that score though. Should be able to get most jobs.
