Marshall. Look at AC/DC live Music Videos on YouTube and look on the stage at the amps.
I would assume that Angus Young Uses his trademark Gibson SG electric guitar on the track War Machine.
I'm pretty sure Angus just plugs right into his amp and doesn't use any pedals.
Marshall
AC/DC is known for using a variety of amplifiers, primarily from Marshall. Their signature sound is often achieved with Marshall JTM45 and JCM800 models, which provide the powerful, overdriven tones characteristic of their music. Angus Young typically uses a stack of these amps for his soaring solos, while Malcolm Young favored a more straightforward setup with fewer effects. The combination of these amps contributes significantly to their iconic rock sound during live performances.
harveys uses angus beef i think. How come its rubbery
Angus has been using Ernie Ball strings for over 40 years. He uses Gauge 9-42's.
Tegan and Sara currently use Boss guitar amps. In the past they've used Vox and Fender guitar amps. A few times they've also used a Gibson amp.
The Jonas Brothers use Marshall amps. If you watch some of their concert and music vids you can see they use marshall half stacks. Some have some pretty massive cabs.
They actually make drum specific amps, so that's what I would use.
10 amps
Your overall guitar tone is made up from a number of factors. These factors include the guitar itself, the strings, the amp and the signal processing (effects). One of the easiest ways to get a sound close to a particular artist is to Google patches for your particular effects unit (if you have one). For example, I use a Korg AX300G effects processor. If I wanted a sound like Angus Young, I would Google 'AX300G Angus Young Patch'. Angus has his own signature series guitar which adds to his sound. I've added a link to a review on some quality guitar strings too.
If I recall right it is Line 6. I own one and they are very good amps.
