A/C and heating unit
Maintaining the fluids in the cars is important. A person has to keep replacing the coolant fluid because the car is using it or because there is a leak.
You may have a coolant leak that will need repaired.
Add coolant to the full cold line on the coolant reservoir when engine is cold.
A storage tank for the engine coolant. Air flows through the radiator helping to keep the coolant cool.
This is difficult so pay attention- (1) Remove the radiator cap (2) Start filling the radiator with a proper mixture of water and coolant(Most climates us a 50/50 mixture) (3) Once the coolant reaches the radiator neck stop filling and let the coolant go down, you can speed this up by starting the engine and letting the coolant start to circulate. (4) keep doing this until the coolant level remains at or near the top of the radiator. Happy Motoring!
You have to remove the bolt in back of the top hose and fill with coolant and keep squeezing the hose to remove the air in the line. Keep filling with coolant and squeezing the hose until you don't see anymore air coming out, replace the bolt and you may have to do this a couple of times after running the car so just keep an eye on the temp. gauge and repeat if you have to.
cos the car you hav is a Toyota
In a Chevy Lumina, low coolant means that the car needs more anti-freeze/coolant added. This is needed to keep the engine from getting too hot
You should not need to bleed coolant. Ever. If the coolant is filling up on its own the stuff in there is not coolant and you have a big problem.
vapour pressure lowering
It could if the coolant is leaking on to the top of the piston.
Just because there is a leak doesn't mean it will overheat instantly, but if you do not keep adding coolant or fix the leak you will have engine problem
