The best way to convert an NTSC signal into a computer signal is with a TV Frame Grabber. Buy the board, install it, and it should be able to convert NTSC video into MPEG or some other video. You will even be able to do this from RF, off the air or off of cable - just understand that some countries are digital, instead of analog - but this answer is NTSC, which is analog.
If you want to build the board yourself, consult the specifics of NTSC with Google, wikipedia, or something - it is a complex task. In high level generalities, the process is...
Build a sync separator that can differentiate between horizontal and vertical sync, and maintain the black and white reference levels.
Build an interlace detector that can detect and process the equalization pulses that occur during vertical sync. These equalization pulses are used to identify the interlacing between 29.97 Hz frame rate and the 59.94 Hz field rate.
Build a 3.58 MHz chroma oscillator that is phase locked to the chroma burst on the back porch of the horizontal sync.
Scan the data portion of each horizontal line - you will need a hardware array for each bit cell...
The luminance (black and white) data is the mean voltage between black and white reference levels at each bit cell.
The color saturation data is the amplitude of the 3.58 Mhz subcarrier at each bit cell.
The color hue data is the phase angle of the 3.58 MHz subcarrier at each bit cell.
You will need to convert the stream of bit cell data into video pixels, and then convert that into whatever PC compatible format you want.
Other things, such as closed captioning can be added by decoding the bit stream on various lines reserved for that during vertical sync.
Again, buy the board - its easier - unless you want to make a semester project out of this.
An DAC convert digital signal to analog signal i.e Digital to Analog Converter. An ADC convert analog signal to digital signal i.e Analog to Digital Converter.
we have to do sampling in dsp because in dsp we have to convert all in analog signal in digital form so for converting into digital signal first we have to convert continuous tome signal into discrete time signal....so we use samplin in dsp...
The basic elements in digital signal processing are an analog to digital converter, digital signal processor, and digital to analog converter. This process can take an analog input signal, convert it to digital for processing and offer an analog output.
Analog instruments take an level of signal and convert it to a read out. As opposed to digital instruments whereby the same signal is processed digitally to display the same results
we often confuse our-self with continuous time and analog signals. An analog signal is a signal which can take any amplitude in continuous range that is signal amplitude can take infinite values on the other hand a digital signal is one whose amplitude can take only finite numbers of values THE TERM CONTINUOUS SIGNAL AND DISCRETE SIGNAL CLASSIFY THE SIGNALS ALONG THE TIME (i.e. horizontal axis) where as THE TERM ANALOG AND DIGITAL SIGNAL CLASSIFY THE SIGNAL ALONG THE AMPLITUDE (i.e vertical axis)
You can just download some file from the net. Click donwload then convert from PAL to NTSC or from NTSC to PAL.
You can convert PAL to NTSC by using Nero software. This software has the ability to convert from one framerate to another and uses frame duplication.
it is pal. peace
VGA is a standard for video only. You can purchase a scan converter to convert NTSC or PAL composite video to VGA from a computer supply store.
Sorry no, You would have to convert the VGA signal on the computer to one of the input types your TV has built in.
You will need to export the video again. This time instead of selecting NTSC, choose PAL.
1. To MODULATE (convert) the digital signals from a computer into analogue signal to enable it to be carried through the telephone line. 2. To DEMODULATE (convert back) analogue signals from a telephone line into digital signal to be used in computer.
The sound signal of a standard NTSC television signal is frequency modulated.
If connected to a digital to analog converter box , yes.
Modem in fact acts as an interpreter. When computer exchanges datas with other computers in internet,it has to take the assistance of telephone. But computer understands digital signal whereas telephone analog signal. For making reconciliation between the two requires one interpreter who can convert analog to digital and digital to analog. Modem's activity is to convert analog signal from telephone to digital understood by computer and vice verse.
The DSi's region is hard coded at the factory, and can't be changed.
broadband modems do not block network attacks a modems job is to convert analog signal or digital signal into a signal the computer can use a firewall would be used to block network attacks
