give answer how to control the speed of dc motor using bridge rectifier ?
ANSWER: A bridge rectifier by itself does not control anything it merely convert AC into DC. the controlling is done by other means SCR TRIACS AND SERVO loop
By the use of auto transformer and bridge rectifier we can start dc motor.
Ac x 1.4 -1.4=dc
When AC full wave is rectified into DC by using bridge rectifier .The DC do not actually behave like an ordinary DC and the DC has a constant value .In fact, it is in pulsating form. This is known as Pulsating DC.
The DC motor speed control has a scope of four speeds. The control speeds include; high, medium, low, and off.
This is bcoz we need -48V for Gsm BTS, -48 DC is used to control Fluctuation So the main function of this is 1) To convert AC to DC 2) To control overloading
By the use of auto transformer and bridge rectifier we can start dc motor.
By the use of auto transformer and bridge rectifier we can start dc motor.
When a DC motor is powered by a rectifier, the rectifier converts alternating current (AC) from the power source into direct current (DC), allowing the motor to operate. The rectified output provides a unidirectional current that energizes the motor's windings, enabling it to generate torque and rotate. However, the performance may vary depending on the rectifier type and the quality of the DC output, potentially affecting the motor's speed and efficiency. Additionally, if the rectifier produces a pulsating DC, it may introduce vibrations and noise into the motor operation.
Bridge diodes are generally used in a bridge rectifier to convert AC into DC.
Total cost to make a bridge rectifier is about Σ25. A bridge rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating currents (AC) to direct current (DC). The process of bridge rectification is a simple one using four diodes, two AC and two DC wires, an AC source and pliers.
Ac x 1.4 -1.4=dc
A rectifier in a brake motor converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC), allowing for efficient control of the motor's braking system. This conversion is crucial for effective regenerative braking, where the motor can act as a generator, feeding energy back into the power supply during deceleration. By providing smooth and precise control over the braking process, the rectifier enhances the motor's performance and contributes to energy savings. Additionally, it helps protect the motor and control circuits from voltage spikes and fluctuations.
Most of the circuits comprising of electronic components run on dc supply.. As DC supply is not available directly for us, we use either 230/12V or 230/18V transformer to stepdown the available 230V (in some countries it is 110v) and then convert it into dc using a rectifier. As a bridge rectifier is more efficient than a conventional full wave rectifier, about 81.2%, it is widely used in such type of circuits.
Use a full wave bridge rectifier.
you basically use rectifiers..like zener diode rectifier and full bridge rectifier..
The easiest way would be to convert the AC power to DC by using a rectifier diode and a filter capacitor. In that way you can now run your DC motor on DC.
aA A: the output of a Bridger's rectifier will always follows proportionally to the load since it does not regulate the output it merely transform AC TO DC '
