Is washing machine is open loop or closed control system and why?

closed loop system

Closed loop control?

The closed loop control refers to a system whereby an input forcing function is usually determined in part by the system response.

Why closed loop control system is much stable than open loop control system?

A Closed loop system basically will have a feedback which enables the rectification of the error in the main process, whereas it is not possible in an open loop system

What about sensitivity of a closed loop system?

Sensitivity of a closed loop system for a change in the system gain is 1/(1+GH)

What is open loop and close loop system?

Q: What is the difference between 'Open Loop' and 'Closed Loop'? A: When the engine is first started, and rpm is above 400 rpm, the system goes into 'Open Loop' operation. In 'Open Loop', the ECM will ignore the signal from the Oxygen (O2) sensor and calculate the air/fuel ratio based on inputs from the coolant and MAF sensors, but mostly from a pre-programmed table in the memcal. The system will stay in 'Open Loop' until the following conditions are met: 1. The O2 sensor has varying voltage output, showing that it is hot enough to operate properly. (This depends on temperature) 2. The coolant sensor is above a specified temperature about 40oC/104oF. 3. A specific amount of time has elapsed after starting the engine. The specific values for the above conditions vary with different engines and are stored in the mem-cal. When these conditions are met, the system goes into 'Closed Loop' operation. In 'Closed Loop', the ECM will calculate the air/fuel ratio (injector on-time) based on the various sensors but mainly the O2 sensor. This allows the air/fuel ratio to stay very close to 14.7:1.

What are closed loop cruises?

Cruises that begin and end at the same port in the United States are considered closed-loop. The cruise must also include a visit to at least one foreign port in the Western Hemisphere. For example, a cruise that sails from Port Canaveral, visits the southern Caribbean and returns to Port Canaveral is considered a closed-loop cruise. A repositioning or Panama Canal cruise is not closed-loop because the cruise begins and ends in different cities.

What is closed control?

In industry closed control is a closed loop feedback where a pump or motor has an encoder or feedback device to keep the operation regulated.

Is Computerized Numerical Control machine open loop system or closed loop system?

What are the advantages of closed loop control system?

stability and repeatability

What is meant to be a closed circuit?

It refers to asystem whereby the loop of control is closed to outside interference.

Would a controlled designed closed or opened loop system enables better control of the system?

Open loop (single cycle) involves a break requiring a restart, easily adapted to closed loop.

What is nyquist set?

The Nyquist stability criterion, named after Harry Nyquist, provides a simple test for stability of a closed-loop control system by examining the open-loop system's Nyquist plot. Under many circumstances, stability of the closed-loop control system may be determined directly by computing the poles of the closed-loop transfer function. In contrast, the Nyquist stability criterion allows stability to be determined without computing the closed-loop poles

Do you need a passport to take a cruise to Mexico if you are a us legal resident?

You do not need a passport to cruise ONLY if you are on a "closed loop" cruise from the United States. (i.e your port where you embark on is in Florida and at the end of your cruise you come back to Florida to disembark.) If you are starting or ending your cruise in another country then you will need a passport. Also check the U.S customs and borders web site. www.WHTI. Gov
