yes low pressure in tank and high pressure on driver side before tansfercase but after fuel filter. if you follow the fuel line from the fuel filter backside you'll run right in to it
There are many ways to drive the fuel pump. Some are electrically driven, some are mechanically driven.
i think its underneath the engine
My guess would be the fuel pump. I dont know how to change it, because i havent had to replace the one on my truck yet, but i would guess the fuel pump.
A pump that has more than one impeller. improve more pressure
A fuel pump inertia switch is a safety feature that most of all street vehicles these days have, what it does is incase in a vehicle accident it shuts fuel pump down and will not allow it to pump fuel until it is reset, sudden fast or hard jolts may also trip switch. And since you are on a Ford question site, if your looking for this part it is located ussually on passenger side up under dash close to floorboard just pull back piece of carpet and ready inertia switch and if not there, lokk in trunk.
In the tank
On a 1992 Ford Bronco : The electric fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank
The fuel pump is located in the tank
how do I replace a fuel pump on a 1993 Ford Bronco 302 5.0 L
The 1988 Ford Bronco with a 351 Windsor engine primarily relies on a fuel pump relay rather than a dedicated fuse for the fuel pump. The relay controls the power supply to the fuel pump, and if there are issues, it’s often the relay that needs to be checked or replaced. However, there may be fuses in the general fuse box that protect the electrical system, so it's advisable to inspect both the relay and the fuses if the fuel pump is not functioning.
If it is the same as the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco : ( Relay # 2 is the fuel pump relay )
The Ford Bronco has two fuel pumps- one low pressure feed pump inside the tank that necesitates removing the fuel tank to replace, and one high pressure pump midway along the driver side of the vehicle on the frame rail. Trace the fuel lines forward from the tank to find it easily.
It is under the hood on the passenger side its the green one the brown is the eec relay
To replace the fuel pump on a 1988 Bronco II, first disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel filler cap and using a fuel pressure gauge. Then, lift the vehicle and support it securely, remove the fuel tank, and disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connections from the pump. Replace the old pump with the new one, reassemble the tank, and reconnect everything before lowering the vehicle and reconnecting the battery. Finally, check for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
On a 1996 Ford Bronco : The ELECTRIC fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank * it is installed through an access hole in the top of the tank
i hardwired my fuel pump so tada flip a switch and fuel pump is on
Could be a fuse, could be the fuel pump relay.
