Need to replace diaphragm an piston under large chrome cap on top. Repair kit can be purchased at most any Plumbing supply house, you will need to tell them if it is for a urinal or a water closet . Be sure to turn off water supply before repairing, screwdriver stop slot located under small cap on right or left of main valve
If it is already open than you wont get more heat. If you have a normally closed type than there is a valve lever on one side that can be slide over and locked into place.
A trim kit is just the outside parts that you see. This will make you faucet look better, but it wont affect the function of your old valve. If your shower valve doesn't work right, replace it.
Bad thermo, replace. The thermo senses that the pilot is lit and opens gas valve, also could be bad or blocked gas valve.
Inside the amplifier on the main PCB (Printed circuit board) there are 2 speaker protection/power relays. When they become old and worn the contacts inside become less conductive (worn out) and they dont always make a good contact, when this happens the hi fi wont turn on. It will eventually stop powering up and it wont work. The remedy is to replace both the relays, de solder them and solder in new ones, problem is you probably wont be able to source the parts.
If it is a multiple turn faucet, you need a new washer in it. If it is a quarter turn one, it needs a new seat and spring. When a faucet fails to close1- Check the washer2- Check the seat3- Check for any debris that maybe have blocked the washer retaining ring from compressing against the valve seat4- The spline on the valve (threads) maybe damaged as not to be able to close tightly or the bonnet nut threads are worn and thus will not work properly
maybe the fast idle valve. mine started to die whenever i had that lowered.
Bad needle/seat valve in carb.
Change the abs motor.
fan control relay is bad, contacts are fused together
my guess woul be that your EGR valve is bad or is sticking i would pull it out and check its the thing under the inlet of your intake if its good then the valve on it will move back and forth easy if its bad then it will stick
pcv valve wont work properly
Call the person who repaired the car and tell them what is going on. But what you write above makes no sense. You say, "(wont turn over) (wants to start) by (wont stay running)" If it won't turn over, how does it want to start, and how can it be running in the first place? Did they replace the fuel filter. If not, they should have.
It needs a new washer in it.
Check your ignitor and the coil. They are located one on top of the other.
start by replacing rad. cap. if that doesnt help you have a blown headgasket.
If you have a bent valve slide, or valve, or valve casing, they usually wont move. Valve's and valve casings would prevent the valves from moving, while bent valve slides wont easily pull out. If you suspect a bent valve, valve casing, or slide, try cleaning and oiling it first, valves and slides can become stuck with the lack of valve oil or slide grease.
