This is a Microsoft network driver and may be used with certain types of tunneling software. internet Connection Sharing can install this driver depending on the version of Windows. This driver is used to link multiple network adapters together at a much lower network layer. If you have ever had Internet Connection Sharing on this computer and no longer use it then you can safetly delete this network connection. Depending on what version of Windows you are running there are different ways to do it.
it is called it cause it is so long so that is y they call it the mighty mac
A bridge can filter, forward based on its MAC address forwarding table. The bridge will note any MAC address that is the source address on a frame and the port that the frame was received. Then it will forward or filter depending upon the forwarding table. If a MAC address is found on more than one port (because of loops in the network) then the frame is forwarded on both ports. If a frame is received on a port and the destination MAC address is only found on that port then the frame is filtered and discarded. If the destination MAC address is not found in the forwarding table, then the bridge will flood the frame out all ports except the receiving port. A router will build a routing table based on the routing protocol that is being used in the router. The routing protocol (RIP, RIPv2, AS-AS, OSPF etc) will have a method of identifying the best route to send the IP packet to the destination. When an IP frame is received then it will be routed on the best route to the destination
The beautiful Golden Gate Bridge is the large suspension bridge located in San Francisco, spanning the gateway between the opening of the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The length of the bridge from abutment to abutment is 1.7 miles, the width is 97 feet and the bridge weighs around about 887 thousand tons including anchorages and approaches. The bridge is painted Orange Vermillion, also known as International Orange, and needs constant touch ups to make sure the salt content in the air does not erode it. When the Golden Gate Bridge was completed in 1937, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It is now the 2nd longest suspension bridge in the United States and the world's 9th longest suspension bridge.
The West Gate Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge.
The Chelsea Bridge is a suspension bridge. Similar to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
I am unfamiliar with the Machinaw Bridge, so I assume you are talking about the Mackinac bridge? The third largest suspension bridge in the world. The Mackinac bridge has common nicknames such as: "Big Mac" or "Mighty Mac"
it is called it cause it is so long so that is y they call it the mighty mac
BRIDGE
Nothing its just the Ohio River and a bridge the Big Mac Bridge
In a Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) environment, the root bridge is determined by the Bridge ID, which consists of the Bridge Priority and the MAC address. By default, all switches have a Bridge Priority of 32768, so the switch with the lowest MAC address will become the root bridge. Therefore, if all switches have default STP configurations, the switch with the lowest MAC address will be elected as the root bridge.
yes
Source MAC address and source port
Bridge Priority and MAC address is used to break a tie.
How can a bridge know whether to forward frames? Answer: The bridge builds a list of MAC addresses on either side of the bridge. Therefore, it knows which packets should be forwarded to the other side and which should not. In the example of a packet that uses a MAC address not in its table it can err on the side of caution by forwarding the packet.
no a bridge does not use a IP address, it uses MAC address', rousters or layer 3 uses ip address.
A MAC address is used as a unique identifier that is assigned to network interfaces. Two networking devices that transmit packets based on MAC addresses are switches and bridges.
In a spanning tree topology, the switch with the lowest Bridge ID becomes the central point of reference, or the root bridge. The Bridge ID is determined by a combination of the switch's priority value and its MAC address. If multiple switches have the same priority, the switch with the lowest MAC address is chosen as the root bridge. This selection process helps ensure a loop-free network topology.
