you can drink pure water and irrigate with it. if the only water available is the sea then you would have to convert it
Not very pure. The water is dripping off a coil that has dirt and pipes that have calcium deposits and probably some mold.
Agar probes are use in applications where there is an oil/water interface that needs to be monitored. Often in such interfaces an emulsion occurs (a mixture of oil and water droplets). Such emulsions make it difficult to determine between the emulsion and the pure water/ pure oil strata, using standard methods such as a float level. Agar probes emit microwaves, which are readily absorbed by water but not by oil. By measuring the level of microwave energy absorbed by the surrounding fluid the agar probe can be use to determine whether it is in a water, oil or emulsion strata. A typical application would be in the oil and gas production. The purpose here is to separate and remove pure water used in processing from waste oil. Since this water can be recycled for reuse in processing or even pumped back into the environment, it is important that only pure water and not oil or an oil/water emulsion is pumped from the seperator tanks. Agar probes are a reliable way of ensuring this.
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters. Only if you mean pure water, then 1000 litres of water weighs 1 metric tonne. 1000 litres of water are 264.172052357 gallons that weigh 1 metric tonne.

Pure water is pure because it is pure... and because it is pure, it is pure... Got it... What sought of question is that?
If you mean salty, it is because salt makes you thirsty
I have found that it looks alot like stainless steel when buffed and polished. It is pure steel.
no Its a solution. If you mix salt in water, the salt dissolves. It is then a solution. That is not a mixture. It may well be a pure substance. If it is pure salt water it is pure. But if you add some soap it is then pure soapy salt water. What does pure mean? Pure is not a scientific term, so its meaning is debatable. Pure orange juice for instance, has no real meaning as orange juice contains many different things, so how is it pure? In fact if by the previous persons definition of pure, [wood is not but glass is] is incorrect as glass is a compound of several things as is wood. Pure water is a compound of hydrogen and oxygen. So is that pure ,or not?
