An analog signal is continuous and can take on an infinite number of values within a given range, representing information in a way that closely resembles the original physical phenomenon, such as sound or light. In contrast, a digital signal is discrete, consisting of binary values (0s and 1s), which represent information in a more structured and quantized manner. This difference allows digital signals to be more resilient to noise and interference, making them easier to process and transmit over long distances with higher fidelity.
Generally process control devices use analog signal. Normally in an industrial automation setup, 0-20 mA (mili amp) or 4-20 mA or 0- 10 Volts are used. These signals are used for both providing control output and to provide feed back signal (say to a PLC (programmable logic controller) or DCS) Example for a control out put is a motorized damper operated by 4 - 20 mA signal. PLC provides 4-20 ma signal. Example of a feed back signal is 4 - 20 mA signal from temperature transmitter, measuring a liquid temperature to PLC as input.
The main different between a traditional signal and a message is their recipient. A signal is often sent to a mass of people, while a message is more individualized.
An oscillator is an electronic circuit that produces an electronic wave or signal. The oscillator signal is the signal the oscillator puts out. An oscillator can put out different frequencies and different types of waves depending on how it is designed. These signals have many different uses in electronics. For instance you can use it to convert DC (direct current) from a battery to 60 Hz AC (alternating current) to use in a home. Some oscillators are variable like what you have in your radio or TV for picking up different signals or stations. To produce an oscillator signal: if you know a lot about electronics you can build your own from parts you can get at some place like Radio Shack. Otherwise you can buy an oscillator. Radio Shack might have one or you might have to look on line. You also have to know what kind of wave and frequency you need to be sure and get an oscillator that produces that signal. If the signal you need is unusual you may need a variable oscillator.
We wouldn't have had the gas mask or the traffic signal.
There's is five different kind; Audio, Radio, Microwave, Logic and Arbitrary.
digital signal just have level 1 or zero . but in the real life digital signal are not produced directly.just think when electricity generates what happens ? we gate a sinusoidal wave which have different-2 amplitude on different time.My mean there are no fixed level 0,1. Think when wheel of vehicle are moving they also generate analog signal. We can convert an analog signal to digital signal by using ADC(analog to digital converter).
Why, the man Minox himself!
A clock with hands, and mechanical workings.
spin the anolog stick
I have att wireless, by adding anolog to my phone will i be able to see on my monthly statement or on line any incoming Bloked or restricted numbers that were received ???? what does anolog add to a cell phone?
move the anolog stick that look s like this <>^ in down
You pull the right anolog stick down.
special effects, didgital options, and sparkly flame looking matterial
It will be either Christmas Day or New Year. Keep an eye on didgital spy website :)
