By the way, if you are trying to learn good English you should realise that a question is not necessarily a question just because you put a question mark at the end. You wrote "Use the word preference in a sentence?" This is not a question. It's a request. In fact, you don't need to ask a question here at all. All you want is to be given an example of a sentence with the word preference in it.
