Based on the roots, it sounds like a newly coined phrase to suggest the mindset of a particular group. To be honest, I've never heard the term used before, but it makes perfect sense to me. I'm rather surprised that I haven't heard it before or can easily locate it on Google. Groups often have their own world views, and a sociologist studing a group or several groups might coin the term socioideological to classify those ideologies which are specific to a given social grouping. For example, what world view differentiates these typical high school groups: jocks--tend to think might is right Chess clubers--tend to think intellect overrides might in-crowd--tend to overemphasize need to conform chronic outsiders--tend to de-emphasize need to conform Whereever you heard this term, I believe it means "mindsets of a societal group."
