I'm trying to do a tuneup on my 89' 740 Volvo with turbo. Having problems getting the distributor rotor off?

Yes. The 740 and 940 are very similar and share many common parts.
Your 1991 Volvo 740 sedan may shake when driving over 50 mph due to several potential issues. Common causes include wheel alignment problems, unbalanced wheels, or worn-out suspension components. Additionally, issues with the tires, such as uneven wear or damage, could contribute to the shaking. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose and address the specific problem.
Remove the ashtray and you will find them there.
Yes I just did that to mine, and it works great. No problems.
My 1991 740 volvo turbo doesnt start specially during the morning. Is it comes with a cold start valve?
In the 1989 Volvo 740 GL with a Bosch system it is located just above the steering column on the dash.
Volvo recommends 10w30 full synthetic oil.
They may still be available from your Volvo dealer. There is no charge for them.
