I asked that question when my 208 went in for its first service. The answer was that you can't. I have never known a car that has a radio you can't listen to without having the ignition on. Has it not occurred to them that you may want to listen to the radio whilst waiting anywhere?
with the engine and ignition switched off .just press on/off switch on radio
To unlock a Peugeot 206 car radio displaying "Error 7," you typically need to switch off the radio and remove the key from the ignition. Then, wait for about an hour, as the system often requires a cooldown period after multiple incorrect attempts. After waiting, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then turn on the radio and enter the correct unlock code. If you don't have the code, you may need to consult your vehicle's manual or contact a Peugeot dealer for assistance.
the radio has message error 6
Oh, dude, resetting the radio in a Peugeot 307 is like a walk in the park. Just turn the ignition on, hold down the 'AS' button for a few seconds until it beeps, and then enter your radio code. It's as easy as making toast, man.
Radio code Peugeot bipper
If you mean the radio immobiliser leave the ignition on for ten to fifteen minutes or when you are driving leave radio on and it will reset itself ready for the code. If you don't know the code check your booklet or pull radio out, check all round and if you lucky someone will have put it in either of these places. If not your local Peugeot dealer will be happy to rip you off and supply it. (assuming it original Peugeot radio of course, otherwise cheaper to get a new one).
A radio code is a code to activate your radio.
In a 2006 Peugeot 206 GTI, the fuse for the radio is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can find the specific fuse for the radio in the owner's manual, which will provide a diagram of the fuse box along with the corresponding fuse numbers. If you're unable to locate it, check the fuse box cover for a label indicating the radio fuse. Always ensure the ignition is off before checking or replacing fuses.
In the context of wire code on a radio, "ACC" typically stands for "Accessory." This wire is used to connect the radio to the vehicle's accessory power, allowing the radio to turn on and off with the ignition switch. When the ignition is in the "ACC" position, power is supplied to the radio, enabling it to operate without the engine running.
on my Oldsmobile the radio will continue to play with ignition off until the door is opened

The radio fuse for a Peugeot 306 is located in the fuse panel beside the hood release. It contains fuses for most of the vehicle's electrical systems.
