The radio/casette player in a peugeot 106 comes with a 4 digit preset which is input by pressing 1,2,3 and 4....the combination is provided by Peugeot itself, if u have lost the combination then u might have to pay £30 to Peugeot to get it unlocked, it'll be cheaper to buy a new stereo.

I have a 51 plate Peugeot Partner van with a standard radio. The radio code should be a 4 digit code with each number having the value of 6 or less. The code is entered using just the 1-6 radio channel numbers, and that's it no need to press any other buttons the radio should just spring into life!Good luckTommo
To unlock a Peugeot car radio displaying a "4 Error" message, you'll typically need to enter the correct unlock code. This code is usually found in the vehicle’s user manual or can be obtained from a Peugeot dealership by providing your vehicle’s VIN and proof of ownership. If you have entered the wrong code multiple times, the radio may become locked for a period, so patience is necessary. After obtaining the correct code, follow the radio's prompts to input it and regain access.
The symbols on a Peugeot 307 radio typically include icons for various functions such as power, volume control, tuning, and source selection (like radio, CD, or auxiliary input). There may also be symbols for preset stations, equalizer settings, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, indicators for the display, such as clock settings or track information, can be found. These symbols help users navigate the radio’s features easily.
The radio fuse for a Peugeot 306 is located in the fuse panel beside the hood release. It contains fuses for most of the vehicle's electrical systems.
Your amp may be playing the radio instead of your music because the input source is set to the radio instead of the music input. Check the input settings on your amp and switch it to the correct input source for your music.

You should have it in the instructions book for your radio if not you will have to contact peugeot and give them the details on that radio e.g. product no., model type etc.

The axillary audio in put on a car radio is usually in the front of the radio face. It could be on a pigtail, on the back of the radio on occasion. If it is not in these two places, then the radio does not have an input.
To remove the radio from a Peugeot 206, first, disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Then, use a set of radio removal keys or a flat tool to gently pry the radio out of its housing. Insert the keys into the slots on either side of the radio to release the clips, and then pull the radio forward. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna from the back of the radio.
