1 Take a week off work and don't expect to using your car for a while. 2 Disconnect the battery and drain the cooling system. 3 Working under the bonnet, disconnect pipes from back of heater assembly 4 Remove the complete facia assembly and steering wheel. (If a passenger airbag is fitted seek further advice) 5 Remove heater assembly and withdraw matrix. 6 Put everything back together with new matrix installed and new o-rings on pipe connector. I did find a shortcut with a Peugeot 405 but the heater was located on the passenger side.
