Note the path of the wire harness as it must be routed the same during installation. 12. Remove the electrical harness from the clips on the frame. 13. Remove the bolt and wire clamp securing the wire to the housing. 14. Remove the bolts securing the alternator/stator to the alternator cover. 15. Carefully pull the rubber grommet and electrical wire harness from the alternator cover. 16. Install by reversing these removal steps, noting the following: 17. Be sure to install the wire clamp. If the clamp is left off the rotor may rub against the wires, wear off the insulation and cause a short in the circuit. I hope this tells you where the alternator is.
