To remove the back seat of a Volvo C70, first, locate and remove any screws or bolts securing the seat base to the floor; these may be hidden under plastic covers. Next, lift the front of the seat base to detach it from its mounting points, then pull it out. For the backrest, locate the release mechanisms or bolts at the base and carefully pull it upward to remove it. Ensure you check for any connectors for seat belts or electronics before fully detaching the seat.
There is a spring in the corner of the back of the seat that can break off. Check that! It needs to be connected correctly.
