Fuel pressure sensor for a 2009 Land Rover LR2 costs about $950.
where is the fuel pressure at
how much fuel pressure should a 1999 Isuzu amigo have
The engine computer uses manifold absolute pressure (MAP) to calculate how much air is going into the engine. That helps calculate how much fuel to inject.
the fuel pressure should be 65 pounds of pressure
burning to "rich", too much fuel. This is a result of an incorrect air/fuel mix. check fuel pressure regulator, Oxygen sensor (s), and maybe PCM.
Restricted fuel return line or a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
A MAP sensor...in lesser terms, allows the car's computer " ECU (engine control unit) " to determine how much fuel should be put into the cylinders by computing the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)
Is your check engine light on ? If it is then have the engine scanned with an engine scanner. Black smoke means engine/fuel system is to rich./to much fuel. Could be the MAP sensor,Fuel pressure regulator, coolant sensor. You need to scan the engine.
Just a short burst at pressure. It is not so much the volume but the pressure I look for. Fuel pumps are the #1 problem on these models.
The fuel pump pressure is what allows the fuel to flow to the engine. It determines how much goes in and also when.
That means your engine is running "rich". Which is to say that you have too much fuel and not enough air being burned in your engines cylinders. Check the fuel pressure regulator, the Mass Air Sensor, the Mass Air Temperature Sensor, the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor or the EGR valve can be stuck open. The best place to begin is to have the car scanned with a code reader or a scanner. (Autozone does that for free here)
If your asking where the sending unit is that tells how much fuel you have it is in the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump.
