You do not have to re-time your belts to replace the starter.
When it fails. There is no set time to replace a starter.
It could be time to replace the motor mounts.

this is crazy as hell but,the starter is under the intake manifold directly in the center of the motor.so remove intake manifold and then remove and replace starter.not hard ,just time consuming.
