Hi to the right of shifter is a button called shift lock override if some one has pushed on button and is stuck down the key will not turn all the way back and key will not come out try to pull button all the way up then move shifter out and back in to park then try to turn key off needs to line up with last dot before will come out just dont force anything will break tumbler My wifes 2000 V70AWD will do that if button is pushed in hope this helps Greg

I found that if you pull the steering wheel all the way to the right, even if the steering wheel is locked, then insert your key, it will turn.
