On a 1996 Saab 900 SE Turbo, the O2 sensor is typically located on the exhaust manifold, before the catalytic converter. There may also be a second O2 sensor located after the catalytic converter. To access the sensor, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove any heat shields if they are present. Always ensure the engine is cool before attempting to work on the exhaust system.

Jerry initially had a BMW 5 Series as there is an episode where it is ruined by BO from a valet. Later in the series he has a classic Saab black 900 convertible, then a later Saab non-turbo 900 SE convertible, auto with tan interior. I don't recall seeing him ever in a 9000. Edit: In the episode where Jerry's car gets wrecked and they go to "identify" the car he accidentally says "Saab 9000" but he means to say "Saab 900". He definitely drove a black 1996 Saab 900SE Convertible, he never drove a 9000.
To change the manual transmission oil on a 1996 Saab 900 SE Turbo, start by safely lifting the vehicle and securing it on jack stands. Remove the drain plug from the transmission case and let the old oil drain completely into a container. Then, replace the drain plug and remove the fill plug located on the side of the transmission. Finally, using a pump, fill the transmission with the recommended oil until it reaches the proper level, and then replace the fill plug.
Well, on my 1995 SAAB 90SE Turbo Convertible, it was on the floor right in front of the two front seats. In fact, that's where the key has gone in every SAAB I've ridden in, but I admit most of the ones I've been in were from 60s or 80s...maybe they broke with tradition later on.
Depending on where you get the repair done, anywhere from $1200 to $1800.
