hope this can help a little.i had to replace my attena motor in my 92 xj6.and to do that i had to remove the rear light casing in the boot to be able to remove the carpet to get to the motor.then its a case of unplugging the wires undoing the motor casing. you can now access the attena. bearing in mind my version is newer so it may not be the same.(92 xj6)
mossmotors.com/welshent.com/amazon.com/ all carry Jaguar-XJ6-1988-1994-Haynes-Manuals Pep Boys carries a "Haynes Manual for 1986 - 1994 XJ6". That's where I bought mine. Contact the Jaguar Drivers Club, must be on the Internet, Their HQ is in Luton. jag-lovers.org look for JDHT CD page and you can purchase a CD specific to your car also if you have a XJS you can download Kirby Palm's "The Book" for free. very helpful.
no you must remove the tank from the trunk then remove flange to access inside the hardest part of the repair is the gas lines the manual states to remove drive line for easy access i did not i just did this on 92 vandanplas
92 Octane or higher.
Check the 92 Eclipse for vacuum leaks. Check to see that all of the spark plugs are firing properly. Check to see that the fuel injectors are working. Either of these could cause the rough start and rough running.
There are several things that can cause your 1992 Honda Accord to start and then die out. The most common cause is an inconsistent flow of fuel. This can be caused by a dirty fuel filter.
Maybe fuel vapor lock. Hard to pinpoint the cause with no 'hands on'
on my 92 xj6 there is 2 alam key bolts behind which have 2 black plastic caps you need to remove.pull them off undo the alam keys which will losen the brakes then i pulled the metal wire thing of the front part.not sure but it must be nearly the same with rears which i will be attempting soon.
There isn't a data link! Simply turn the car to on hit the VCM button and it displays the trouble codes. I'd suggest getting a haynes book for the 88-92 model or checking some of the jaguar forums for the meaning to the codes or if you have your owners manual it will have them listed. Jaguar did this so you wouldn't need to guess what is wrong if a error showed up whilst on the road. Once Ford took over fully in the 95 on years it then has a link that must be done at the dealer or local shop.
My 92 Silverado right front brake sticking why
