The IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature Sensor) is located inside of the air-cleaner assembly. You will see it near back (towards the cab of the car) when you lift up the air filter. It is plastic and looks like this: http://i442.Photobucket.com/albums/qq146/coolaj86/017.jpg. You'll only see the rod-looking part from inside.
If you are talking about the air charge sensor it mounts on the firewall passenger side and has a vac hose that runs to the base of the throttle body and a connector into the elec harness

They sure are. Metro rear windows were the same from 1989 - 1994 and 1995 - 2000. Hope this helps.
front of the engine
It depends on the size of your engine.
I know mine is under the hood and I have a 97 geo metro so you may want to start there.
It is 17mm.
18 lbs
Most auto parts stores have wiring diagrams for a 97 Geo Metro. This includes wiring diagrams for the brake light, head lights, and much more.
it can work! but you need exchange de oil pan, oil pump, timing gear, and timing belt cover! also the ditribuitor, I did already on my 97 Geo , using a 95 motor and it work perfect! sounds complicate but is real ease!
there are two 02 sensors on a 97 they are easy to replace,i have seen these sensors for around 90$ which is high for an 02 sensor but can easily be done yourself, if you can find a low mileage one in a junk yard you could do it for a few dollars
