Fill past the plug and let drain till the fluid starts gulping out of the hole then plug it and your ready to go. Don't forget to use ONLY Land Rover GENUINE FLUID otherwise DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.

According to everyone I have talked to (many mechanics), Land Rover has it's own transmission fluid that it requires for its vehicles. And, it is only sold at the dealership. I was told by my Napa Auto parts guy that Amsoil produces a synthetic transmission fluid that will work.
