The 98 Cabrio has a sealed transmission, it does not have a dipstick.
VW from 1995 and on (automatic transmission) HAVE NO OIL DIPSTICK. You have to take it to your VW dealer for a check every 100 K miles. I hope this help. Good luck and GOD Bless.
cabrio is a convertible
Audi S3 Convertible (Cabrio)
where do i find a convertible top for a 2002 v.w.cabrio
They don't have one. It's a 'sealed' tranny. Search on http://forums.vwvortex.com to learn more.
The Cabriolet is what the called the Cabrio before. The Convertible is the style of the car. It just means the top comes off. Hope that answers your question. Cabriolet is the french word for Convertible. It's my undersdtanding that post 1995, the model Cabriolet became Cabrio.
the worlds most expensive convertible is BMW cabrio, bently drop-head-coupe,and volks wagen eos.
Either go to your dealer, www.1stvwparts.com, or you can try www.autohausaz.com
On the VW automatic transmission of this generation vehicle, the transmission is supposed to be serviced only by VW, so there is not the typical dip stick tube that comes up into the engine compartment. You can check the fluid and add if needed through the fill spout, under the car, located directly on the transmission pan. There is a short 2" tube with a red cap, unscrew the cap which also has a fluid level indicator attached, similar to a power steering dipstick. To add fluid you will need to pump it in with a hose attached to your container. Regards. BDBENZ
It doesn't have one. VW says the transmission fluid is for the "life of the transmission." Scary.
One can find more information on Cabrio cars at any car sales firm. These firms can offer information on convertible cars and Cabrios including price and upkeep information.
A 2000 VW Cabrio takes power steering fluid as advised directly by VW. It was difficult to put in, I had to use a straw and small funnel, adding a little bit at a time.
