you can call the dealership and give them your VIN number for your car, and they can look up the radio code. AS LONG AS the original radio is still installed. If a newer radio (mercedes radio) has been installed then you will need the serial number off the back of the radio.
why does the bose stereo flashes code
switch your ignition onto accessory, then switch radio on the word CODE will appear. Enter your code using the push buttons. the code is usually 4 digits long. Radio then should work. If U lost your code, take your drivers license, registration papers or proof of ownership to a Benz dealer & they will look it up 4 U. good luck
How do you reset Radio Code for 2000 E320? I just purchased the car and had to get new battery installed and know the radio doesn't operate until you reset with the code. Previous owner lost this card with code! Any direction would be great!ThanksRadio codeI called Mercedes Benz of Portland , Oregon and gave them my VIN # and in return they gave me the code! That easy. Entering the code:On my 1997 E320, I typed in the 5 digit code and then pressed the "SC" button (over by the Seek and Tune buttons) to activate the code. The Dealer told me to use the "OK" button, but my radio did not have one, I guess about the "SC" button and that was correct on my radio.
The radio has a built in security feature. When power is lost to the radio, it requires you to insert a code to restore the radio to an operational condition. The code came with the car. Look in the glove box, console, and in the owners manual for the code. Do not attempt to guess at the code or you will lock the radio up.
Is the car a c,e,s class. Need to know what model
your code is unique to your car... you'd have to get it from the dealer if you lost it.
Radio codes are set at the factory and cannot be reset. If you lost the code go to your dealer and have them look it up.
Impossible. I've tried it once, and I lost all the code.
An answer to your question according to the book you are to turn the radio on and leave it on and you will see the message(waiting) it will stay like that for 15 minutes then the sreen will turn to code which at this point you may enter the code and it will work again. Good luck. In case you lost your code and unless you know the radio serial number (you can remove the radio and see the no behind the set) the fastest way to get your code back is to go to www.radio-code.co.uk. Follow the instruction and for 8.99 british pound (yes you have to pay for the service) you will get the right code instantly. It works for my BECKER car radio. Believe me it works.
Use your last (4) digits on your VIN number.
I install a new starter and lost my radio, and i have no code4 it, I have a 1995 XJ6 can anyone help
Not me, I had nothing to do with it. Just kidding. I assume you have a Honda. If you have lost the code it is very easy to find out what it is. Simply click the link to the Honda Owners website I will post and go there and register your Honda. After you register click the link on the left, "Retrieve Radio/Nav Code". Follow the directions and you will get the code in an email.
