Not me, I had nothing to do with it. Just kidding. I assume you have a Honda. If you have lost the code it is very easy to find out what it is. Simply click the link to the Honda Owners website I will post and go there and register your Honda. After you register click the link on the left, "Retrieve Radio/Nav Code". Follow the directions and you will get the code in an email.
lost security code
If your radio is locked and needs to be unlocked, it would require a security code versus a radio code.
The radio has a built in security feature. When power is lost to the radio, it requires you to insert a code to restore the radio to an operational condition. The code came with the car. Look in the glove box, console, and in the owners manual for the code. Do not attempt to guess at the code or you will lock the radio up.
whats number do i put in to unlock radio is it security code or radio code to unlock radio?
If the radio has a security code you will have to insert the code for the radio to work.
With the radio presets
where is radio security code located for a 2005 ml 350 mercedes
The radio security code for a 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML320 is typically a four-digit code that is unique to each vehicle. If you have lost the code, you can retrieve it by checking the vehicle's owner manual or contacting a Mercedes-Benz dealership with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Some vehicles may also display the code on the radio unit itself after a reset.
What worked for me was to unplug the antenna in the back of the radio and then enter the security code. Once the security code is entered, you can plug the antenna connector back into the radio.
lost security code
Never knew that there was a security code for the radio, just set the stations etc.
The radio unit will need the security code If you disconnect the battery from your vehicle. The radio will reset, thinking it was stolen out of the car, and will require the security code before it will work again.
