I would suggest that you cut down on carbohydrates in the evenings as these are energy foods which the body uses up during excercise or stores as fat when sleeping and resting. Protein foods can stop hunger feelings for longer periods. Great when dieting??. A balanced diet is paramount. You dont neccesarilly have to reduce the amount you consume, more so the content between fibre proteins carbs . the less sugar the better. Peanuts contain large amounts of protein. As for excercise, a brisk or fast walk can burn more calories than running. As the muscles develop they will require more energy and hence burn more fat so long as your stomach is not full of food, which would be used up first. Results of excercise will appear after a few weeks, not immediately so dont be put off. Good luck
