real easy open hood the light fixture twists out of the back of the light bucket counterclockwise facing forward. The bulb simply plugs into this plug then back in clockwise....Do not touch bulb with fingers use a papertowel and dont touch if it is or has been on (hot!)
Nothing scientific behind my answer, but what helped me, was i just made a Really tight fist. I did this because it helped stretch my fingers/toes/jaw/etc
It's easy, you reach up under and behind the front bumper, twist the old bulb out, take it out of the socket, replace with a corresponding type (remembering NOT to touch the new bulb with your fingers) put back into housing, twist, and you're done!
