There are basically two types of muscle fibers in our bodies that we have voluntary control over. One is called "red" muscle, and the other is called "white". Red muscle fibers have the ability to perform work over longer periods of time without fatigue. White muscle fibers are able to work hard, but for a shorter period of time than red fibers. An endurance athlete will have exercised his or her red muscle fibers (through long exercise sessions), so that they grow stronger and bigger. This means that their body will have the ability to do work for much longer than a person who only exercises for shorter periods (and exercises their white muscle fibers).
they are called ergogenic aids.
Suck it up or just exercise more? Lol, so then your endurance can build up more.
For shorter runs no dietary adaption is required. For longer rides you can benefit from the same kind of preparation as marathon runners and other endurance athletes do.
As in each time you exercise it takes longer next time before you feel tired? Training. That's all, you are essentially training your muscles to endure activity for longer, so your muscles get better at this endurance.
cardiovascular exercise help improve your cardiovascular system (lungs, heart, veins, and arteries) it will help you develop endurance, lose weight, and more importantly live longer.
cardiovascular endurance usually, but it depends on the exercise really. aerobic exercise requires movement that uses oxygen in the body. That means that the longer you can do the aerobic exercise, such as running, the stronger your heart is.
The few professional endurance athletes who can make a living at being athletes wouldn't need to take it. The rest of them would be asking to change jobs that require fewer hours at work--but at the same salary--so they could have more time to train. Unlike speed athletes, endurance athletes work hard and are humble, so the net result of many endurance athletes taking the Wingate would be an overwhelming shift to careers with shorter hours per week or to fewer days of working with longer hours per day worked. Flexibility would be brought to the workplace to accomodate all of these very effective, dedicated, resilient, and thankful workers. There would be a corresponding drop-off in water cooler touchdown dances.
More mitochondria is found in the muscles of an endurance athlete than a sprinter. This happens beacuse Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell(in this case the muscle cell) and therefore produces usable energy supply for the cells through respiration. Energy produced is in the form of ATP(Adenosine triphosphate). For the cell respiration to happen faster in the cells and the cells to produce enregy (ATP) more mitochondria is needed beacuse an endurance athletes needs more energy.
Well, muscular endurance ensures that you are able to keep at certain exercises longer. For example, if you have really good muscular endurance in your arms, it would take more reps (if you were lifting weights) to get your arms to be tired. So the benefit of muscular endurance is pretty much that you can exercise more efficiently because you won't tire out so easily.
If you have that endurance you will be able to run fast for longer.
It helps you last longer
Exercise burns calories, turning food into energy and building muscle throughout the body. A healthy lifestyle involving exercise will do a lot to prevent obesity. A healthier body functions better and will stay in good condition longer.
