When you sweat during exercise you lose a lot of water. You body also uses a lot of water to transport nutrients and oxygen through the blood to muscle etc. And then more to remove, dilute and flush out toxins from the body. A lot of water is lost in urine too. The body needs 2 litres of water a day just to function. This is pure water, bottles, still or tap water. Sparkling water, carbonated drinks, tea and coffee etc, lose most of their water value because the body uses it up just to burn off the caffeine. Aim for two litres a day plus 1-2 litres during exercise, depending on how strenuous it is and how long you do it for, more if necessary. Green tea is great, it is a fat blocker, a good detox, and has no caffeine. Have this in morning before breakfast to kick start your metabolism and increase your fat loss and also after exercise to remove toxins, and drink plenty of water also to aid its effects.
