If he's angry leave him to it for a while and when he's not , just remind him that your always there for him and you love him and if he believed in you and encouraged your childhood till your present im sure he'll know what it would feel like :) and you might be really annoyed at him at times but your father is a person your lucky to have , coz others don't and sometimes it's the only thing they wish for and think of so consider yourself lucky!
and if this anger issue gradually gets worser see if you notice any physical issues aswell and then you can take this to counselling lessons by speaking to someone about it <-- which really works by the way...
