NCM is the harmonized tariff schedule related to international commerce within Mercosul, the south American common market (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) . It is used since 1995 to simplify the customs control over all types of goods, and is based on the HS (Harmonized System).

The codes are similar to the north American HTS code, but composed by 08 instead of 06 dygits.
