Yes it does, and when this happens, it is called an earthquake. They result from the moving of rock deep under the ground. This movement is caused by the rubbing of one plate into another. The plates have jagged edges, and so when they rub against each other, they get stuck. Since plates constantly move, the plates that are stuck create great tension, and when they are finally free, a huge amount of energy is released. Shock waves move from focus in all directions, and it causes the earth to vibrate.

~Sure plate tectonics cause earthquakes....But I was going for this idea that Darryl Anka also know as "Bashar" talks about....Some of the 2012ers talk about earth transitioning "4th density"(or 5th dimension)...It supposedly ties in with geo-vibration...In the documentary Roswell: The UFO Uncoverup a women claims that the pulse of the earth has increased from "7.8 pulses" per second to 11.2 pulses. She does not mention a timeline, or what device was used to take these measurements. And I also couldn't catch her name....I cant find anything more substantial on Google about it...Every web site I did find was blasted with 2012 graphics and eventually selling somebodies book on the upcoming Apocalypse. However; the eccentric, and long winded "Bashar" ties the vibrations of earth into synchronism; and our relationship with space and time...It all pertains to humans progressing as members of the universe...I really try to pick up on what Bashar's putting down..But I find his ideas esoteric and reminiscent of Pseudoscience...But if Darryl Anka indeed "channels" the Alien creature "Bashar" as he claims; I suppose he is more of an authority than myself... So in closing, earth definitely has quakes; I can't be too sure on geo-vibrations or a geo-pulse...But I'll keep my ear to the ground...
