In my jurisdiction the due date has got to be adhered to.If you do not make the due date for the ticket you must go to court.I have gone to court and plead guilty and explained that I could not pay at by the due date. The judge did not increase my ticket even though he could have.You must either pay by the due date or go to court or get the people at the place you pay to confirm that its OK.
