well you have to feed them well and see them every day and make sure you feed them 3 times a day and if your nice and you are the one that takes care of them and see's you most everyday evntually they will notice that you can become friends and take care of them more than the pet store that you got them from because they have to take care of all the other animals and every other live thing thats in there and you just have to take care of a few fish not like 100 animals or something thats how you could probably make friends with fish so thanks for reading hope this helped bye!!
You MUST be joking. It has taken millions of years for a guppy to evolve as an omnivore and you in your wisdom wish to change a basic thing it has evolved to be. My advice is forget about keeping fish successfully if you want to change them.
You should not. If you do, your guppy or molly will end up dying.
if it is a guppy give them 5 SQ inches per 2 fish and have a garded filter make sure thay have a filter the guard on the tube will help from sucking them up and killing the hop i helped i love guppies
A fancy guppy may give birth anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks on average. With right fish food, the nutrients may make the wait shorter.
Quite often a male guppy will nip at the female if she is pregnant; this can stress the female and make her ill.You can place the female in a birthing cage early on if this is a problem, but pay extra attention to the cleaning of the birthing cage daily.
Fresh cement will make the water very alkaline and that could kill your fish. There are special treatments available that you can paint on the concrete to counteract this problem. Old concrete should be OK.
Yes, make sure the water is changed regularly. The tail will grow back but will never be as good as the original one. There will be a reason the guppy has been loosing its tail. If the problem is fungus then you need to fix the bad water problem that is causing the fungus by changing the water regularly. If the problem is fin nipping by other occupants then you will need to separate the fin nipper(s).
Simple you get a fish become close friends with it then become lovers and then make love with it [SEX!]. and then two weeks you have a fish. CONGRATS! ha! jayna and kristie are beastly.
Kangaroo and guppy
Unfortuanatly, probably not. When she gives birth to the eggs you must make the measures to protect the eggs. If you let the eggs sit in the tank, the other fish will probably eat all of the eggs unless you tend to them. So, no, she will not take care of them.
You mean if your guppy is giving birth and the babies won't pass? You should net the guppy out. Hold the guppy (yes, with your hands) in one hand and gently push your finger on the guppy's mid-area is a way that seems like you are rubbing the fish, but a little bit harder. If you are a novice, or just nervous, take your guppy to a vet and they will handle the situation. :) Fightn' Fact #1: Always make sure your hand are wet before you have to handle your aquarium fish for any reason. Especially fish with softer fins like Bettas. Fightn' Fact #2: If you try the first way and put your female back in your tank and she doesn't continue giving birth, don't worry. She just needs a few minutes to calm down. However take her too a vet if she is still carrying longer than a day.
The tadpole may well make a meal of the guppy or at least bit chunks of the guppys fins. I would not advise it.
