f there crowding around the part that sucks in water, they might be being pulled in. To prevent your fish from getting their fins caught in the sucker, wrap a piece of thin hose or cheesecloth around it.
Also, the fish might be trying to eat bits of food from the sucker. If this is the case, they are hungry and need to be fed. But, some fish just like the feel of the water hitting their back as it comes out of the filter. Hope I helped.
Filter a fish? Do you mean filtering a fish's tank? Well you have to filter any fish's tank.
no filter because for smaller fish it can hurt or even kill them and for the old filter use bigger fish
a fish filter cleans the water and a pump pushes it through a fish filter cleans the water and a pump pushes it through
The filter removes the fish waste and some of the other impurities.
yes,it is hard to clean out a pet fish's filter
No it's not a bad thing, as long as the filter is not too strong. If the filter is too strong it could make it difficult for the fish to swim around. It is also not usually necessary to use a filter with a betta, as long as the water is changed about once weekly. A filter would probably lengthen this time, but would NOT eliminate it.
Jawless fish are filter-feeders.
it is always good to get some kind of filter for your fish, but natural ponds dont' always need one. the filters will keep out some bad bacteria though, and keep your fish healthy longer, and allow you to actually see them. goldfish are very hardy and can withstand quite a bit.
fighting fish or betta fish whatever you want to call them, are pretty easy to look after. i have two of them, one female and one male. fighting fish don't need a filter but it wouldn't harm them if they did and should be kept in a small-ish tank. your fish will grow depending on the size of its home.if it doesnt have a filter then you should clean it around once a week but if you do have a filter around once a month. feed it 3-4 of their betta pellets twice a day. hope this helps, :)
First, you feed the fish by pushing over the fish food on the shelf above. Then you click to turn off the filter. Then you can edge around the fish and go in the tank.

It is best that all fish have a filter besides Betta fish. Betta fish don't need filters cause the filter pushes them over with their big fins. Goldfish should have a filter on there tank because they are often overfed. If you have a filter you won't have to change the water as often. The only fish that shouldn't have a filer in captivity are Betta fish.
