It can be because freezing preserves food indefinitely. The real question here is if you would want to eat it after a year. The quality diminishes after time.
I have eaten 2-year old frozen venison, but I believe it would have tasted better if it had been eaten sooner. If the meat never thawed and is packaged in air-tight plastic so it doesn't get freezer burn or absorb the taste from other stuff in the freezer you can eat it without worry.
Once meat is in a FROZEN STATE than it can be good for about a year.

Not as long as it would when you put it into the freezer. So probably about 3-4 days tops.
Vacuum sealed hamburger meat that is frozen can last 2 to 3 months. When it is thawed, it shouldn't be kept in the refrigerator more than a couple days.
For a few years if in an air tight container. That will depend upon the type of meat. Fatty meats will go rancid in the freezer. So something like bacon or sausage will be good only for a month or two. Pork doesn't last as long as beef. Definitely plan to use frozen meat before a year is up, but sooner is better. See Related Links.
Vacuum-sealed meats can last for up to a year, but the flavor gradually fades after the six-month mark. While the meat will still be edible a year or more later, it won't taste all that great.
yes it is frozen all year
Freezing food will preserve it forever, and will be safe, unless it gets freezer burn. However, the longer meat is frozen, the more "quality" it will lose. Meats will be good 6 months to a year before losing too much quality, depending on the variety of the meat.
