Does noodle soup come from Vietnam?

There are many different types of noodles soups, however all of the "original" (rather than the Westernised derivatives) types come from parts of Asia. For example, Cambodia has it's own form of noodle soup called Ka Tieu, which can contain quite a mixture of things. Vietnam has many different forms of noodle soup, including "Pho", "Mi Quang", "Bahn Canh" to name but a few.
