Depends on what your definition of bad is. If your definition of bad as in spoilage, then yes, the salad dressing will have off flavors after time due to oxidation. Unopened doesn't mean that the food is good, it just meant that it had been commercially sterilized and is safe to consume within the expiry date.

It is impossible to say. Some dressing will go bad more quickly than others. Does unopened salad dressing with egg whites Marie's poppyseed go bad unrefrigerated?

If the dressing has not been opened and kept in a cool dry place, it will be good for 5 to 6 months. I keep mine in a dark, cold storage room in my basement and so far it has never gone bad. I think it's even been longer than six month. Vinegar tends to keep foods safe for a long period of time. Check the color of your creamed dressings. That should tell you if it's still good or not.

How can you tell when-Olive oil and Vinegar-salad dressing goes bad?

A dressing of that kind will not easily go bad. If the Olive oil and Vinegar separate, just shake it to reconstitute. Both Olive oil and Vinegar have an unrefrigerated shelf life of years. Although vinegar is in itself a natural preservative (all acids are), if you introduce high protein items like anchovies into the dressing, they will go off more quickly.
