Ice cream, especially in lesser known companies, can actually be really bad for one's health. Some companies use contaminated water (which could cause hepatitis A and typhoid), extra and artificial sweetener/flavor/colorings to cut down on costs, and this can cause Asthma in some people, and so does unhygienic milk. In the US children eat ALOT of ice cream, and some strange side effects of eating it daily is that some girls have started puberty at 9 and 10!

Adulterated ice cream may contain washing powder. To test it, pour some lemon juice on it. If bubbles fizz out, that means it contains washing powder.
