Great question! Uhm....let's see. You can join Free Rice.com and answer little questions for 10 grains of rice per answered question, start a group like mine, and tell all of your friends about it. If 10 of your friends answer 10 questions (they're real easy if you're past, like 2nd grade) that's 100 grains of rice. You can also start a web fundraiser. Or, you can donate money to organizations. One word: Google. Or, if you're a Binger, than that's cool, too. Google some ways to help our world food problem.
Ps. Please join WDMS Just Because group on Free Rice, if you're going to join.
Hope that helped! :)

Peanuts, like corn and other crops, can be used to produce fuel instead of food, if that is what you want to do with them. The problem with this approach is that even though we have problems in getting enough petroleum for our needs, the world is also greatly in need of food. Having more fuel and less food is not necessarily a good solution. But technically it can be done.
Iodine solution is used to test for the presence of starch in food. Copper II sulfate solution is used to test for the presence of proteins in food. Benedict's solution is used to test for the presence of reducing sugars, such as glucose, in food.
