Get frying pan hot, non-stick works best. Use oil or butter/margarine and add to pan. When hot, crack egg into pan. Let egg set up, whites should be firm. Loosen egg, flip over and take off heat. Over easy means flip over, and cook shortly. Sunnyside egg is the same procedure without the final flip.

With Over easy the yolk should be not set ( hard) , nor runny.
