you should clean the goldfish tank once a week depends of what size tank you have and if u got a pump/impeller if you have these then ever 3-5 weeks depends on the water condition
1-2 times a week
A pond is really the best place. Here is alist of places to keep a goldfish from best to worst. 1. A pond 2. A large aquarium- 10 gallons for each goldfish 3. A bowl- DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN A BOWL IT WILL NOT DO WELL AT ALL
My advice is to get an actual fish tank and not just a bowl. Fish bowls are cruel and don't have near enough space for 2 goldfish to live in
No bettas live for 2 years. goldfish live for long as 25 yaers if conditions are clean.
Usually when they are about 2-3 years old. Goldfish can also die if you don't feed them enough, or too much. When goldfish are not kept in a clean habitat, they can get sick and die. Make sure to clean your goldfish tank at least once a week. Remember, goldfish mainly die from aging
Goldfish need more space than what people may believe; one goldfish needs a 20 gallon tank, and you need an additional 10 gallons per fish after (so 2 goldfish in 30 gallons)This is not just about their potential size (which is big), but the amount of waste they produce. The old adage of inches of fish per gallon is completely incorrect when it comes to goldfish due to being high waste producers.
Goldfish NEED 20 gallons for the first fish and an additional 10 gallons per additional goldfish. So for 3 goldfish you NEED a 40 gallon aquarium with A LOT of filtration. Your 3 goldfish will be dead soon due to both ammonia poisoning and lack of oxygen. Since goldfish have primitive gills, they require A LOT of dissolved oxygen in the water. Hence why they do better in unheated aquariums because cold water holds more dissolved oxygen then warm water does. You need to clean that bowl like 3 times a day. It is cruelty to keep them in there. Goldfish are America's number 1 mistreated and abused pet because people cram them in bowls. When properly cared for goldfish have lifespans of 30 yrs and grow 8-24 inches depending on variety. I have personally seen 14 inch black moors and have a picture of a 15 inch red oranda.
Goldfish do not belong in bowls. One goldfish needs at minimum 20 gallons on it's own, plus 10 gallons for each for every additional goldfish (30 gallons for 2 goldfish). It's not just due to their size potential, which is big, but because they are such messy fish that produce high amounts of waste
One goldfish requires at minimum 20 gallons on it's own plus 10 gallons for each additional goldfish (30 gallons for 2 goldfish). It's not only because of how big they can grow, but because they are very messy fish & produce a high amount of waste
A guppie is a tropical fish and should be kept in an aquarium with other tropical fish, a goldfish is kept in a bowl or tank in cold water - the 2 cannot be kept together because of the different in the temperature of the water
There's a bit of myth around this. Goldfish won't grow properly in a bowl and are likely to die before they're even sexually mature (they are not considered mature until they are over 2 years old). In a small unfiltered bowl water quality can turn toxic within 12 hours, that toxic water will stunt the fish, not tank or bowl size! If you had Goldfish in a small tank or bowl but managed to miraculously keep water quality healthy, they would continue to grow until they could no longer turn around, and then become so stressed they get sick, and then they would die from that instead. A fish in a bowl is a lose lose situation for that poor creature! Goldfish need massive over filtered tanks.
It depends how big your bowl is if it is below 5 gallons then you should put one. But if it is 1 or 2 gallons then you will have to move it into a 5 gallon tank or bowl at the least.
Are they gay? meaning happy. Happy goldfish can coexist
