Husayn ibn 'Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib (حسين بن علي بن أﺑﻲ طالب‎)‎ was born on 3rd of Shaban 4 AH - and was martyred on the 10th Muharram 61 AH; 8 January 626 AD - 10 October 680 AD). He is the son of the fourth Caliph Ali ibn Abou Talib and Fatima Al-Zahraa (daughter of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).

Imam Husayn fought the tyranny, as he refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid (the Umayyad Caliph and grandson of Abou Sufian) . He rose up to create a regime that would reinstate a "true" Islāmic polity as opposed to what he considered the unjust rule of the Umayyads.

As a consequence, Husayn was killed and beheaded in the Battle of Karbalaa in 680 AD (61AH) by Shimr Ibn Thil-Jawshan.

Shimr Ibn Thil-Jawshan was a soldier in the Ummayad army during the battle of Karbala, in southern Iraq that occurred in the year 680 AD. He was the maternal uncle of Abbas ibn Ali. Abbas ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib was loyal to Husayn and was a great and brave warrior.

Who killed Mohammad and why?

There are several tales about Mohammed's death. Among them is the following story: Mohammad was addicted to a married beautiful woman. When he was in Khyber, a beautiful Jewish woman he liked was allowed to prepare him a lamb in private. She mixed poison with her food to examine whether or not Mohamed was a prophet. She also wished Mohammed dead because he had ordered a raid on Khyber and slaughtered all of her male relatives. Mohammad ate the poisoned meat and felt pain; three day's later he died in 632. It was examined that he ate poison with food and died. This proved, to her, that he was not a prophet based on the reasoning that if he were a prophet he would never have eaten the poisoned meat!

Did Cain get killed by his great-great grandson?

According to the Bible, Cain was not killed by his great-great-grandson. Instead, he is described as having lived a long life after killing his brother Abel and becoming a wanderer. There are references to his descendants, but there is no account of Cain being killed by any of them. Thus, the claim that Cain was killed by his great-great-grandson is not supported by biblical texts.
