yeah its okay to have some sweets in the middle of your pregnancy
In response to the answer above posted by Winner24,
NO on BUTTERCREAM, yes on other types of icing which do not contain raw eggs.
Buttercream is made with whipped RAW egg whites, then sugar syrup at a high temperature (240 degrees f) is added. The hot syrup probably partially cooks the eggs but it is partially cooked, at best. It is possibly safer than totally raw eggs, but by much, I have no idea. If you're pregnant, my suggestion is to eliminate the risk (of salmonella) altogether, select a frosting that doesn't contain raw or partially raw eggs, and look forward to that buttercream frosting post pregnancy.
Sweet icing made from buttercream (butter and cream). One common recipe for buttercream includes RAW whipped egg whites, simple syrup (sugar and water), and butter. Flavorings can also be added, such as melted chocolate, to make chocolate buttercream.

Yes.
To make buttercream icing thicker, you can add more powdered sugar or reduce the amount of liquid ingredients like milk or cream. This will help to achieve a thicker consistency for your icing.
Not really. Perhaps buttercream icing is the only kind you like.

Yes, you can use caster sugar to make buttercream icing. You will need to cream the butter and sugar until you get the correct texture.
You can improve the stability and texture of your buttercream icing by adding meringue powder, which helps to create a smoother and firmer consistency.
