It depends if it is taken out of the fridge or the freezer if its out the freezer then don't because the ice crystals that form on the meat will pop up and hit your skin, that's if you fry it or cook it on the stove top i would still defrost it before to cut some time out of cooking and if its out the fridge wait like 5 minutes then cook them.
